Cookie Policy

Trinetra uses a small number of cookies and SDKs. Strictly necessary ones keep you signed in and the platform secure; analytics ones run only with your consent. This page explains each and how to change your choices.

This Cookie Policy explains how TRINETRA CYBER DEFENSE PRIVATE LIMITED ("Trinetra") uses cookies and similar technologies on trinetracyberdefense.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use related technologies such as localStorage and software development kits (SDKs). We group them by purpose: strictly necessary (required to run the Service) and analytics (optional, consent-based).

Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — authentication and session tokens, CSRF protection, load-balancer affinity, and the record of your consent choice. These cannot be switched off because the platform cannot function securely without them, and we rely on them under legitimate use.
  • Analytics — product-analytics technology (PostHog) that helps us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. These are off by default and load only after you opt in via the cookie banner.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Note on error monitoring: we use Sentry to capture crashes and exceptions under legitimate interest with no profiling and no advertising. It does not set tracking cookies and is documented in our Privacy Policy.

Managing your choices

  • Use the cookie banner shown on your first visit to Accept all, Reject non-essential, or set Preferences per category.
  • You can change your mind at any time — clearing the trinetra_consent cookie (or your site data) will make the banner reappear so you can choose again.
  • Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service working.
