These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "user", "operator") and TRINETRA CYBER DEFENSE PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN: U74904UW2026PTC252417), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at G-04 Satyam Complex-2, Plot Cs-05, Alpha Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201310, India ("Trinetra", "we", "us"), operating the platform at trinetracyberdefense.com and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP").
Acceptance of terms
By registering for, accessing, or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Eligibility & age
The Service teaches real offensive- and defensive-security techniques. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction (18 in India), you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf, as required by the DPDP Act 2023 for the processing of a child's data. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details and for keeping your password and credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@trinetracyberdefense.com of any unauthorised use.
- One person, one account. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account without our written consent.
Lawful & authorised use
The Service is provided strictly for lawful, educational purposes. The offensive techniques you learn — exploitation, malware analysis, command-and-control, lateral movement and similar — may only be practised inside Trinetra's provided lab environments or against systems you own or are expressly authorised in writing to test. You accept full legal responsibility for any use of these techniques outside the Service. Misuse may constitute a criminal offence under the IT Act 2000 (India) and equivalent laws elsewhere. See the Acceptable Use Policy for detail; it is part of these Terms.
Labs & offensive tooling
Lab containers are ephemeral, isolated, and intended for single-user training. You agree not to attempt to escape the lab sandbox, attack Trinetra's infrastructure or other users, mine cryptocurrency, host illegal content, use lab resources as a proxy or staging point, or otherwise abuse the compute we provide. We may impose resource limits, session timeouts, and rate limits, and may terminate any lab at any time. Flags and challenge solutions are confidential — publishing working solutions or flag values may result in termination.
Subscriptions & payment
Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by our payment processors, Stripe and Razorpay; we do not store full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. All fees are stated inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes (including Indian GST) as indicated at checkout. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its challenges, lab images, learning content, software, branding, the Trinetra name and logo, and all related intellectual property, is owned by TRINETRA CYBER DEFENSE PRIVATE LIMITED or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, scrape, resell, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.
Your content
You may submit content such as write-ups, profile information, or forum posts ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for your User Content and must not post anything unlawful, infringing, or that reveals confidential challenge solutions.
Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or the AUP, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time from your account settings. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) will survive.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that the training will produce any particular outcome, certification value, or employment result. AI-generated hints and mentorship may be inaccurate and must not be relied upon as authoritative security guidance.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TRINETRA CYBER DEFENSE PRIVATE LIMITED and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or INR 10,000. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TRINETRA CYBER DEFENSE PRIVATE LIMITED from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or the AUP, your User Content, or your unlawful or unauthorised use of any technique learned through the Service.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India will have exclusive jurisdiction, and the parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably before commencing proceedings. Where mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection laws of your country of residence apply, nothing here removes rights you have under them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice (for example by email or an in-app notice). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
